Itinerary description
There are a handful of trails in the area and this option starts about halfway between Goodsprings and Sandy Valley on State Route 53. The trail starts off in a low-lying wash area that has twisty turns and beautiful scenery but unfortunately has been badly wash-boarded by heavy ATVs. Our hands were tingling by the time we got out of the lower section. Once on the power line portion it runs straight Northwest until it connects to Pahrump Rd / Sandy Valley Rd. Nothing very technical but enough dips, rocks and washes to keep you on your toes and speeds in check.
