Itinerary description
PART 2 - half day
One of the most awesome bits of my way down south avoiding big roads (and finding the tiniest ones). The whole trip was from BKK to Koh Lanta in Nov 2017
The end is at a motel (the kind where locals take their "second wife", their mia noi). The place is very clean and reasonably priced. walk 100m towards the little town, turn left and find little restaurant.
READING WP NAMES (because your navigator will not find all the roads)
The letters are for left, right, straight, crossroad, and so on IN ITALIAN (never mind the numbers in this example). Learn to use them as roadbook with these examples:
01 TS T-junction (or getting onto bigger road) S = turn LEFT (italian=Sinistra)
04 XD crossroad D = turn RIGHT (italian=Destra)
07 XI crossroad go straight
12 YS road fork turn left
13 FD side road (usually smaller road) to the right
17 FI/YS there is a side road but you go straight (in case of doubt: the straight road is to the left of the side road)
21 O270 roundabout turn for 270°
22 TS U getting onto main road - turn left and then take U-turn
27 Dir just follow this direction
31 XS !! cross road, turn left and (!!) there is something coming up shortly
