0.7 mile trail to the top. Do not enter between 6 PM and 9 AM.

Mt. Ord Fire Tower

If you hike up to the summit during daylight hours and the tower is staffed, you may be invited to climb the tower. When we were here, we climbed to the top and spoke with the volunteer at the top for half an hour about the area and his job as a lookout.
