Itinerary description
This is basically a track from Doumont Road to the lake side of Moriarty Lake. It includes the location of a trapper's cabin close to the lake. This cabin is in excellent shape and it's clearly maintained carefully by all guests who decide to stay over. Please be kind and clean up after yourself! The route shows an alternative portion that runs through Okay Mountain valley. A more direct route can be made by just sticking to branch 142 and 155 main. The portion of the track near the lake is pretty gnarly and filled with boulders, roots and water pools. If it's wet, it can be a challenge getting back up the trail and there are few alternatives to get out of the area. Pick a dry day. Not recommended for beginners.
