Albània - Grècia - Turquia - Iran (Yazd - Na'in)

Motorbike trip from Catalonia to Iran passing through Italy, Albania, Greece, Turkey and Iran.

20-10-2022 - I have a good breakfast at the hotel and before leaving Yazd I visit the Atash Behram, a fire temple of the Zoroastrians with very interesting explanatory panels.
Then I reach Kharanaq, an old village with mud bricks and then covered with mud and straw. Then I continue towards Ardakan, where you can walk through a stretch of qanat without water, it's a tunnel about 2 meters high and 1/2 wide and it's curious how many bends and connections it has. The well with the vault is impressive and also has some badgir to freshen the air with water.
The girl who acts as a guide asks if I want to go and have tea at her mother's house and of course I say yes. There is her politician father (age 70), a couple of women also quite old, her husband and 5 or 6 boys and girls, she has a girl and is now expecting a boy. They bring lunch, rice with different meat dishes, sauces and vegetables to mix it up. At first she only brought food for me and the other men and she ate in the kitchen with the other women but I tell her to go ahead and eat with us and she does and that way she and I can chat since the others don't speak English . In the meantime, the boys take pictures of the motorbike that they brought me into the yard and the girls take pictures of me secretly but in the end I take a picture of them all. All very tempered.
The next point to visit is in Meybod, a caravanserai that looks like new after so much restoration and an ice well that makes a noise but does not explain how it works.
The road to Isfahan is full of trucks and when I get to Nain I stop and look for a hotel with Maps, I can't see the prices but there are a couple that seem high end and a third cheap month and when I go to this one that is on the outskirts a young man on a motorcycle starts talking about it and I tell him that I'm looking for a hotel and he says to follow him, we stop at a hotel and go in to ask for a price: 9,500,000, too expensive. I tell him if he knows more and he takes me to another one that the entrance is much more luxurious but I go in to ask for a price and they tell me that they have everything reserved.
Along the way, 2 other motorbikes come together and they all go rogue for a while. In the end, he takes me to what I wanted to go to at the beginning, they show me the room, it's fluffy but it sounds pretty good. Ask for 6,000,000 with breakfast and to park the motorbike in a private car park. I ask if we can leave it at 5 million and in the end we leave it at 5,500,000
I ask for dinner what they have and they tell me chicken kebab, I tell him if he can bring rice or whatever they have.
It's a very strange hotel, you don't see any other customers and the kitchen overlooks the hall and it seems like there are a lot of people working.
