Albània - Grècia - Turquia - Iran (Mahan - Minab)

Motorbike trip from Catalonia to Iran passing through Italy, Albania, Greece, Turkey and Iran.

11-10-2022 - Around a quarter to five I am woken up by chants from the mosque that is less than 100 meters away but I don't wake up until a quarter to six, the thermometer reads 9°C and it's cold, of course we are at 2,000 meters high. I take down the tent quickly before it dawns on me that it would be crazy to do that where I am. I pass through Rayen where there is an old mud fortress and a garden with water from the qnat that comes from the western mountains. It's very early and I don't see anything open, sitting in the fortress there are a couple of couples having breakfast (they seem to be masons doing work on the site) and I ask them where to buy bread and make tea but we don't understand each other and a d 'they give me a piece of bread.
The road climbs to 2,950 meters and then quickly descends again, in a short time we went from 2,950 to 1,100 meters and from 16 to 29°C
In Jiroft I stop for gas and buy water, noodles and biscuits. I fill the CamelBack with 1.5 liters of fresh water, it starts to get hot, at 11 o'clock we are at 34 degrees. At 1 in the afternoon the thermometer already shows 41ºC.
I continue and look through iOverlander for a hotel before arriving in Bandar Abbas and I detour about 40 kms to Minhab which seems to have one that is good enough and cheap. I go through a police checkpoint and as they almost always stop me just to chat, ask where I'm from and where I'm going, etc., they don't ask for any papers. When I get to the city there is a lot of traffic and it's very hot, the bike stops for me, just like it did a few days ago when it warmed up but it allows me to get to the hotel. Nomes have triple rooms for 6,500,000 rials but I haggle up to 5,000,000.
It's very good, it's a few years old but it's clean and the shower works well, I park my motorbike right in front of the door and it's also a private area.
After the shower I go to look for a place to eat, it's 2/4 of 3 and there's no one on the street.
I find a fast food place and the girl makes me a delicious beef burger with salad and a Pepsi for 800,000. I continue up the street to buy four things for dinner in the room and water to put in the fridge for tomorrow.
