Itinerary description

4*4 Trail

The start from either end looks nice and green and very pleasant.

NB: These looks can be deceiving, so beware, especially if it has been raining heavy in previous 3 days at all!

One section is reasonably steep and very rocky at spot marked (as my XT225 got jammed between 2 big rocks). Due to recent rains, was very muddy also. This thick mud, deep in places was clay like and even clogged the 'knobblie' off-road tires of our Dual Sport Motorcycles, meaning they became a bit like 'slicks', offering little or no grip on wet grass and more mud. Having said that Matt on his XRM 125, with Road tires, did make it (with difficulty and slipped and slid, more than us with off-road tires, but he is a good rider). The start from either end looks nice and green and very pleasant, so beware, especially if it has been raining in previous 3 days!

Steep section (very slippery mud, after rains)

Caution Slippery when wet, on steepish incline. NB: This section is reasonably steep and very rocky at spot marked (as my XT225 got jammed between 2 big rocks).
