Iran - Iraqi Kurdistan - Turkey - Greece - Albania
I calmly take it to the meadow where there are a dozen vans and five Czech motorbikes.
There is a great silence broken only by the rush of water from the river not too far away and the hammering of a man who is making extensions or improvements to his house. It's cool but soon the sun manages to break through the mountain wall and heats up strongly.
I have breakfast, dismount and start to climb the twenty kms to the pass. Deunidó the traffic there is and you have to be very careful on the narrow road where, luckily, there are "passing places" from time to time.
I made many stops, today the intention is to arrive in Durrës and buy a passage on the ferry that leads to Bari, last night I was looking at the sales websites and I found one for €110 with an internal cabin for exclusive use, a person and a motorcycle but I didn't buy it, I prefer to do it in-situ.
One of the intentions of this trip was not to book anything except the first day's flight Barcelona-Isphahan, the hostel where my bike has been kept these 7 months and to order 4 liters of 10w50 oil and a jar of grease for the chain to the Brothers Overlanding in Isphahan itself.
Passing through Shkoder I stop to visit the center and have a drink, I already knew the city from a previous trip and I liked stopping there to re-visit some corners.
Arriving in Durrës, I stop at the first place where I see that they sell tickets for the ferry, the girl looks for the best price while I enjoy the good coffee and chocolate she invited me to.
In the end the ticket costs me €99 for the NGV ferry that leaves 5 hours from here so I have time to prepare what I need to get on the boat, buy some food and drink a couple of beers.
