Iran 2023 (Iran - Iraqi Kurdistan - Turkey - Greece - Albania - Italy)

I get up at 6 and when I leave the tent a guy approaches me and we start talking.
He speaks Farsi, Arabic, Russian and some English.
He explains that he is Afghan but lives here and works for the Iranian government, is a soldier and has been to Syria.
Obviously we have to take a selfie and he asks for Instagram and Facebook and gives me his phone number. We invited him to his house but I thank him.

It asks me if I have Snapp (sort of like Uber) and yes, I installed it and will try it today in Tehran. Since I didn't have battery in his phone I leave mine to use Snapp as a guest, it's good for me to learn how it works. He calls a taxi and we say goodbye.

It took me almost 2 hours to make the last 20 km to reach the Cozy hostel in Tehran.
The owner, Megdi, a gentleman of about 70 years old, very tired. The room costs $22 per night. The place is very nice.
Megdi is a revolutionary, on the wall of the cafe he has a picture of Che Guevara and another of Nelson Mandela and we have been talking about history and politics, he knew ETA and as for Iran he talks about all the invasions that have suffered over the centuries and that this year more things should change, let's see...
It's funny that nobody knows the Omidvar brothers, tomorrow morning I'll try to go to the museum.

Once installed, I walk the streets to places I had under control (I'm quite close to some of the murals against the USA) and discovering new ones.
A lot of traffic of cars, motorcycles and pedestrians passing at the same time on the street without accidents, seems like a lie.

Around six in the afternoon I see that I have more than 6 km to walk back to the hostel and I prefer to take a taxi with Snapp, very practical and easy.
When we have about 300 meters to go, the car starts making a terrible noise, the taxi driver stops the car and looks at the engine that is blowing smoke, I get out, pay him and continue on foot.
