The route begins at the cable car park at a height of approximately 1200m. Continue along the Transfagarasan road itself, in the direction of Lake Balea, the road is closed to traffic about 100m further up, you continue for about 2 km, and at the first 180 ° bend to the right you take the track marked with yellow circles, it leaves the same curve to the left and in the first meters it goes parallel to the road, gaining height rapidly. It continues to launch with the blue route. About 500 meters before reaching this route the path is quite flat and it even loses a bit of height going to the middle of the slope, making the path a bit uncomfortable. You can continue along the summit line but I decided to go back for the hour. I made these 500 meters back on foot. Rest of spectacular descent.
