It is located in the Pirin National Park, the route begins where the Gondola (cabin) arrives, there is little room to park, price at € 6. The route begins at the end of a biathlon track, it is marked with yellow lines. Check the state of snow, in this area that goes along the right bank of the river, going uphill, there are many channels with many avalanches until reaching the Vihren refuge. Later, the valley widens and becomes a glacial cirque, where it is full of lakes, the danger of avalanches does not disappear. The path is marked in blue and green for the first 2 km. The descent was along the forest track until connecting with the ski track, which takes you directly to the car park, on the right side of the river. On this track it's time to row. Very little slope, the spectacular lake area to enjoy the descent. I don't recommend going down the yellow path that leads to the duathlon.
