Itinerary description
ESPAÑOL (english below)
Ruta invernal por el corazón del parque nacional. Es difícik por la subida y el esfuerzo extra que supone andar en raquetas; pero sobre todo por una zona que hicimos campo a través.
Alquilamos las raquetas de nieve (10€/día) a Mitso, un señor que alquila material de esquí en la cercana estación de Savin Kuk.
El coche lo dejamos en el parque de acceso al Lago Negro. Una vez llegados al lago, nos pusimos las raquetas y fuimos dejandolo a la izquierda de la que subíamos a un circo glaciar que recoje el agua que llega hasta él.
La subida es relativamente dura, pero asequible, está bien señalizado y además es espectacular lo fácil que lo hacen las raquetas de nieve. Una vez llegados ahí, disfrutamos de las vistas y bajamos.
En la bajada, decidimos visitar el lago de las Serpientes y para ello atajamos campo a través (la parte complicada que mencionaba).
Del lago de vuelta al parking se va por una pista forestal (en nuestro caso, cubierta de nieve) que hace que la vuelta sea sencillita.
Una aventura de 10.

ENGLISH
Winter route through the heart of the national park. It's difficult due to the ascent and the extra effort of walking in snowshoes, but especially because of an area where we went off-trail.
We rented the snowshoes (€10/day) from Mitso, a man who rents ski equipment at the nearby Savin Kuk ski resort.
We left the car in the parking lot that provides access to the Black Lake. Once we arrived at the lake, we put on our snowshoes and began heading up to a glacial cirque that collects the water that reaches it, leaving the lake to our left.
The ascent is relatively tough, but manageable, well signposted, and it's amazing how easy the snowshoes make it. Once we arrived there, we enjoyed the views and started descending.
On the descent, we decided to visit the Snake Lake and cut across the off-trail section (the complicated part mentioned earlier).
From the lake back to the parking lot, we followed a forest track (in our case, covered in snow) that made the return trip easy.
An A+ adventure.
