Itinerary description
This is the longest snowshoeing day hike that I have done. We meet in Sparks, NV at 5am and hit the trail at 6:30a. The snow sugary making this hike a difficult one.
We lost the trail a few times since the trail was cover in snow. At the highest point we were meet with 40+ mph winds with gust the would knock you over.
Towards the end of the hike we ran into a small snow storm and passed by some recently falling trees. The expierence was a tough one but it also was very rewarding once we completed it ;)
