Itinerary description
We started in Lionshead and up we went avoiding the mogul sections by circling around. It took us 2:05 hours (whereas the winners of the race the preceding weekend made it in less than 1 hour). It was a busy day on Vail Mountain so we dodged skiers. The views were gorgeous and the snow was firm enough for micro spikes but snowshoes would have been a bit better.
