Itinerary description
From the carpark up to the Refuge Cabana Coms de Jan. The trail starts near the BBQ area and winds directly upwards through the trees before heading across in a Northerly direction (left) where the trail flattens out nicely. Continuing along until you cross the stream and then heading up again as you exit the tree line. Once you crest the next small hill you will be able to glimpse the refuge. Spectacular views down the Ransol valley looking towards the Grandvalira/El Tarter ski fields.
Great to hike in summer as there are lakes and waterfalls.
Great to rackett (snow shoe) or randonee (cross country skiing) during the winter months.
