Navacerrada con raquetas // Navacerrada with snowshoes

<<< English follows >>> Interesante ruta con raquetas de nieve. Se sube hasta el Puerto de Navacerrada y se deja el coche en el aparcamiento. En temporada de ski, si subes después de las 09:00 es difícil que quede sitio para aparcar. Saliendo de Venta Arias subimos hasta casi el Séptimo Pico, pasando junto a la Virgen de las Nieves. El día era un poco frío y tuvimos nieve muy fina, mucho viento y niebla. Justo conseguimos distinguir el macizo del pico entre la niebla. Desde allí arriba empezó lo más divertido: la bajada hasta el camino Schmid, ¡un descenso recto del 38% con raquetas!. El resto fue fácil, siguiendo el camino. Nos acercamos hasta el Jardín Meteorológico donde los nuestros chicos del tiempo se entretienen con sus previsiones. Go up to the Puerto de Navacerrada and leave the car in the parking lot. In ski season, if you arrive after 09:00 it is difficult to find a place to park. Leaving Venta Arias (a coffee bar) we climbed up to almost the Séptimo Pico (Seventh Peak), passing next to the Virgen de las Nieves. The day was a little cold and we had very fine snow, strong wind and fog. We just managed to distinguish the Peak massif through the fog. There the fun started: the descent to the Schmid path, a descent of 38% with snowshoes!. The rest was easy, following the path. We approach to the Weather Garden where the our weather guys are entertained with their forecasts.
