The only negative side of this hike is that you have to walk 3 km of approach walk for just over one km of real climbing. There are two possible approaches that are equivalent in distance.
Contrary to what one can sometimes read on the Internet, there is a magnificent view, but it is not at the top which is surrounded by trees. Neither the summit nor the belvedere are indicated on the ground. The summit is where the trail ends.
I did this climb twice this year and the first time the visibility was so bad that I could not take a single valid photograph.
This trail is open in winter only for snowshoeing and off-piste skiing. It is not accessible for hiking. I remember reading about the wetland crossings in the summer.
