Itinerary description
Path: parking 1km after Campo dell’Osso (Livata), 1.645 m. Follow the main route. Pass a small observatory, Campo Minio locality, 1.700 m. Continue until the first cross (Le Vedute), then for Vallepietra. At last cross, turn left and go up mountain Autore, 1.855 m. Come down from the mountain for the main route to Le Vedute. From there take a parallel path to came back. By car (30 minutes) you can visit surroundings of Subiaco: San Benedetto lake, Monastery of Santa Scolastica, Monastery of San Benedetto
Length: 7.3 km (loop). Difference in altitude: 323 m, from 1.645 m to 1.855 m
Level: moderately difficult (E: Expert), due to the ice along the route. If you choose the direct path to the peak the level is easy, T: Turistic
Equipment: crampons, ice ax
Nota: usare i ramponi se la neve ghiacciata, non usare le ciaspole (pericoloso), almeno nel percorso effettuato
