Itinerary description
Herðubreið - Askja
First stage in Super - 4x4 up to reach the surroundings of Askja (ranger's shelters). Then snow rackets to get to the caldera and to arrive to the Öskjuvatn lake .... Finally swimming at -5°C from one warm area that we found in the big lake (be careful with the last).
