Itinerary description
Path: parking on Strada Provinciale 1 Amiternina, about 4 km from Tornimparte motorway exit. Follow the dirt road till the small village, turn right, walk up to mount La Piaggia (1.637 m). Cross the saddle and climb to Colle Acetoni (1.806 m). Continue to refuge Ferrarecce (about 1.840 m). From there you go back to the parking lot, through a circular route. The mountain group is Monte San Rocco-Monte Cava, and it’s close to Campofelice
Level: quite difficult (EE = for experienced hikers), due to physical effort and snow. We climbed a snow wall with the ice ax, but it can be avoided
