Fraz Joseph Glacier

In New Zealand there are two big glaciers and those must be seen by everybody: Franz Joseph & Fox. But walking on the glacier itself is only possible in Franz Joseph with a guided tour.
They take you from the village with helicopter to the top, then you walk guided by friendly people during almost 3h along the glacier crossing bridges, tunels, seeing incredible ice forms, etc. At the finish, they take you again to the village with the helicopter one more time.
An incredible experience from the early beginning.
(sorry but the gps had some problems to receive the signal in some moments, for this reason you will see some extrange straigth lines. The track is only for your reference because the only option to visit the glaciar is with a gudied tour and they always change due to the movement of the glacier)

A Nova Zelanda hi han dos grans glaciars que s´han de veure per tothom: Franz Joseph & Fox. Però l'aventura de caminar pel glaciar en si mateix només es pot fer al Franz Joseph amb un tour guiat.
Una vegada contractat el tour, t'agafen des del poble amb un helicòpter fins adalt a la base del glaciar, aleshores és quan pots caminar durant 3h pel glaciar guiat per uns guies molt preparats i molt simpàtics creuant ponts, tunels naturals fets al gel, esquerdes, a més de veure algunes formaciones de gel increibles. Una vegada s'acaba el tour, et tornen a portar en helicòpter fins al poble novament.
És una experiéncia increible des del primer moment.
(el GPS va perdre la cobertura en algun moment i per aquest motiu en el track hi han alguns trams rectes sense sentit. El track és purament orientatiu ja que el tour és guiat i va canviant continuament degut a l'avanÇ o retrocés del glaciar)
