Itinerary description

English (castellano debajo):

Nice walk in the Jura Vaudois area for winter time.
We went by car but there is a bus stop near by (stop: Le Brassus, Combe des Amburnex)
We started after the mountain col du Marchairuz as all the parking spots were already taken. There are several other spots and you just need to stop by where you can (as an example: Parking du Pré de Bière). All these parkings are for free.
The whole area is actually full of different activities like skating, sledging, cross country skiing or snowshoeing.

We started from the parking (you should have winter tires) and it was indicated to follow the pink marks. There are two routes, one of 4 km and the other of 8.
The itirenary is generay very well indicated although some times you may just follow some footprints.

The way is easy and phisically not very demanding. It has some up and downhills but overall it is quite flat.
We made a couple of shortcuts dut to time constraints so completing the exact track would take around 15 more mins or so.

Also, at the starting point there was the possibility to rent out the raquettes or skies, however, I'm not sure if they would be available everyday or even every weekend.

From the similar spot, but in summer, you can hike to Mont Tendre:

Castellano:
