Itinerary description
A moderate snowshoe hike from Brockway Summit (California Hwy 267) to Peak 7766, which is a rocky outcropping that overlooks Lake Tahoe. This area is partly private forest land and part National Forest, but is generally open to winter recreation. As of winter 2010-11, there is a commercial snowmobile rental operation at the trailhead off California Hwy 267. Tahoe National Forest, Placer County, California, USA
