Itinerary description
Snowshoeing starting from Arz Ehmej camping. We followed the trail in Wadi el Siyyar. Amazing sceneries in snow. Majestic Hafroun on your left. Two large ponds on the way. Soon after the ponds, we left the trail leading to "Tellaj Ehmej" and went down left to pass by "Mat2oubeh" grotto, an amazing "open roof" cave where you can get splendid photos. Stunning sceneries all around. Lakloud "pyramid" is best seen from here. The trail continues to Ain El Batrak where you reach Laklouk main road. We removed our snowshoes here and walked on the road till "Saydet el Ramliyyeh" church. From there, you can follow LMT side trail signs to reach the col ovelooking wadi Hafroun. After crossing a kind of plateau, a pleasant descent in the valley will take you to the starting point. Keep hiking and remember to leave no trace.

Quick and lovely trail to be done in hot weather. Following any of Rami’s trails is always fun and fulfilling. His trails reflects how outdoor passionate he is.
Thank you Rania! Keep hiking :)
