Itinerary description

This tour was quite demanding in terms of length. But on the way there is a cozy trail cafe. The Karilan Navettagalleria offers home-made and wonderful home-made tea, and there are trolls, artwork and a warm stove fire throughout the venue.
Our tour started on the fenced lake. Here it goes on the edge of the trail eastward over the lake. When you have land under your feet, the official snowshoe trail begins. Now beautiful over the frozen mire area towards the forest. It is very well marked and the path leads us up and down to the 2.8km distant Loipencafe. Two half-wild reindeer appeared in front of us on this section. (The animals belong to somebody, but they walk around freely)
After a tea, it goes back about 300m, over the suspension bridge and left up into the forest.
Now you can only 5km follow the path (cross-country trail is crossed once) and the blue marker poles. The forest is sometimes denser, then again with open areas and the way is getting steeper over time but never overhanging :-)
The trail is just a dream !!!!!!!!
At every altitude, the spruces with the many snow on the branches became more and more impressive.
In the upper part of the tour, the snow depth was certainly over a meter !!!
The last kilometer was again above the tree line and thanks to the not too dense fog we were able to reach the summit without any problems.
The way back was on the same path.
