Itinerary description
The Sunnseit Rodelbahn (sledging run) ist about 2.5 kilometer long, and good for beginners. It can however be icy, and there are some steep hairpin turns.
To reach the Sunnseit Hut, take the Salvenbahn to the middle station, cross the ski slopes and walk down the road to the Sunnseit Hut. With luck, the road will have snow cover and you can sled down.
Enjoy a warm drink or meal at the Sunnseit Hut, before taking the trail that is reserved for sledding. It ends in Hopfgarten near the base station of the Salvenbahn.
For two or more people, it is cheaper to take a taxi (Van) from Hopfgarten to the Sunnseit Hut (ca. 16 Euro).
