You can choose between an à la carte menu and a herb surprise menu with 5 or 9 courses. In addition, Swiss wines or even a mixed alcoholic beverage accompaniment are served. / THE MOUNTAIN / The name of the restaurant is derived from the Latin name for the Rigi mountain (in German  «Queen of the Mountains»). Edelweiss products

The hotel uses no artificial colourings, flavourings or preservatives. / Here is a small selection of their home-made produce: / • Vinegar / • Syrup / • Mustard / • Spreads / • Pasta / • Tea and herbs / • Liqueur / • Herb-flavoured salts and bath salts / The products can be purchased at the Hotel Edelweiss and make an ideal gift, or a small souvenir to take home from Mt. Rigi. / The Hotel Edelweiss uses 100% Swiss produce in its regional cooking (the only exceptions being salt, nutmeg and coffee), and the dishes are lovingly prepared by hand. The hotel can, therefore, guarantee that no artificial flavourings or additives are used.

Restaurant SunSet

A sky-high culinary experience awaits you at the SunSet Restaurant. In putting together the dishes, the kitchen team aim for maximum authenticity while keeping sustainability in mind. / Careful preparation ensures that the ingredients preserve their wholesome properties and are combined so that the flavours create a unique taste. / The service staff are every bit as good as the kitchen team. Panorama Restaurant

As the name of this restaurant suggests, what makes it special is the magnificent scenery at Rigi Kaltbad. Every table has fantastic views of the alpine arena around Lake Lucerne. / Whether they prefer a fine dish of the day or something from the à la carte menu, at the Panorama Restaurant everyone will find what they are looking for. The restaurant's motto is to be friendly, welcoming and regional, and guests are truly pampered. Mt. Rigi village shop

Guests will find all the most important everyday items here, everything for a day out, some delicious treats and (almost) anything an organic consumer could wish for. / The Mt. Rigi village shop also offers the following special products and services: / Regional shop: Regional produce made by the farmers around Mt. Rigi. / Victorinox shop: Penknives and domestic knives, baggage and perfume - Victorinox has something for everyone. / Post office counter: A service almost the same as you would find in a lowland post office: you can post letters and parcels, buy stamps and make payments. / The village shop is centrally located on the village square in Rigi Kaltbad. It is a meeting place for locals and visitors alike.

The natural ice rink at Rigi Kaltbad is a panoramic location for skating and ice stock shooting. In the shop, visitors will find a wide range of drinks and snacks. There is plenty of information about Mt. Rigi and tickets for the Rigi Bahnen railways can be bought here. The Rigi Kaltbad village square just nearby is also an excellent meeting place for locals and visitors alike. / The Rigi Kaltbad service centre is inside the Rigi Bahnen station in Rigi Kaltbad. / In this station the Rigi-voucher can be redeemed. 

Hotel Restaurant Alpina

Small but stylish, elegant but with a traditional ambience. That is the Hotel Alpina. The views all around from the beautiful terrace are amazing, extending across the Alps and down to Lake Lucerne. Right beside the Hotel Alpina, the Rigi Bahnen railway climbs majestically up the mountain. / In the restaurant, guests can enjoy traditional Swiss dishes, freshly prepared. Rigi Sport Kiosk

In winter, visitors to Mt. Rigi will find a selection of articles to rent at the Sports Kiosk, including skis, snowboards, ice-skates, snowshoes, sledges and ski poles. To make sure skis and snowboards can be used without problem, ski servicing is also available, so visitors can have their equipment waxed and sharpened and made fit for the slopes again. / The Rigi Sports Kiosk on the village square in Kaltbad offers sports equipment, souvenirs and kiosk items all under one roof. The range of sports equipment is extensive and meets the needs of visitors to Mt. Rigi perfectly.
