Rigi Kulm mountain chapel
It is the youngest chapel in the parish of Arth and was built by Ernst Käppeli. On Easter Monday 1967, it was officially inaugurated by the Abbot of Einsiedeln, Benno Gut, and given the name «Regina Montium». / The chapel is a plain, simple building made of natural stone. In 1969 a stained glass window bearing the name of the chapel was installed: Regina Montium, «Queen of the Mountains». The window, by local artist Hans Schilter (1918-1988), adorns the altar wall. / The Rigi Kulm mountain chapel is perfect for weddings or christenings. Sledging pleasure on the Rigi
The toboggan runs on the Queen of the Mountains offer promising moments of happiness. You will whiz down the mountain on freshly polished runners. You don't need to take the skid vehicle with you for the ultimate snow pleasure. Our rental centres offer upholstered toboggans as well as toboggans equipped with child seats. Chäserenholz cheese dairy
Together with the village’s cosy tavern and places to stay overnight, a cheese dairy has also played a major role here for the last four years. Every summer the Alpine herdsman Franz-Toni Kennel produces up to 12,000 kilograms of cheese. The highly prized milk required for the production of cheese, butter and yoghurt is provided by 33 cows in the nearby barn, as well as 17 cows from a leased business and other milk suppliers on the mountain. / Everyday production starts early in the morning and continues until midday. Up to 15 different types of cheese are produced each year on Alp Chäserenholz. The cheese is sold locally on the mountain and visitors can also look forward to a selection of delicious cheese dishes (raclette, fondue and open grilled cheese sandwiches), which are likewise made using the local cheese. / Individuals can visit the cheese dairy (overshoes CHF 2 each), while a personal tour by the Alpine herdsman Franz-Toni Kennel must be booked in advance (tour CHF 50). / Alp Chäserenholz is around 20 minutes away from Rigi Kulm

Restaurant Zum goldenen Hirschen
At the cosily decorated «Zum goldenen Hirschen» restaurant at the Hotel Klösterli, guests are treated to friendly service and freshly prepared meals. / The menu includes regional dishes mainly prepared using premium organic ingredients from the local area. / Every day there are two different dishes of the day available at a reasonable price: one vegetarian and one chicken or fish dish. But you will also find simple, traditional dishes like rösti in various versions, Älplermagronen (alpine macaroni) and other delicacies on the menu. The meals are prepared with fresh, organic produce from the local region and semi-prepared convenience products are deliberately avoided. / After a walk, you can rest your tired legs on the wide sunshine terrace while enjoying home-made cake and fine organic, Fairtrade coffee. / With its varied food, excellent service and large rooms of various sizes (for up to 120 people), the restaurant is an excellent venue for large events such as family celebrations, corporate events, seminars etc. / The «Zum goldenen Hirschen» restaurant can be easily reached by taking the Rigi Bahnen railway from Goldau. The Heirihütte offers individual travellers and groups a pleasant possibility to rest. Away from the large tourist crowds, quietly located between the Klösterli and First, the Alpine inn welcomes you warm-heartedly.
