During some days of February and March of 2014 my friend Luis Cremades invited me to sail through the Caribbean on board his PANGA sailboat. We formed the crew with Ale Jacod and Alejandro Croci.

On the nautical voyage we sail through the Islands of Trinidad @ Tobago and Grenada.

The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago together with several smaller islands form an independent state located in the southern Caribbean Sea, on the continental shelf of the eastern coast of Venezuela. They are islands of the Lesser Antilles. Its capital is Port of Spain. Its population is almost entirely black, of African and Hindu descent.

Grenada or Grenada, is an island country in the Caribbean Sea that includes the Grenadines of the south (Carriacou, Petit Martinique and others). It is located in the southeast area of the Caribbean Sea, north of Trinidad and Tobago, northeast of Venezuela, and south of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Its capital is Saint George's. Its population is almost entirely black, migrants from Africa, Ethiopia and Rwanda. There are also many white migrants.

In music, soca, calypso and reggae are the pillars on which the microbuses (maxi taxis, taxi stand) compete to be the noisiest and the fastest bus service.

Sea, beach and navigation occupied our time, alternating with the cultural knowledge of the Trinidadians and Tobaguens and Grenadians. We enjoyed an amazing musical movement of STEELBANDS competitions in Trinidad and in the carnival and street parties and in open discos of Tobago. The novelty is the non-electronic musical instrument used, -the sound of the bread- elaborated from the barrels in which the oil is stored. In Grenada, quieter but no less intense, it dominates reggae and local parties.

Thank you Luis Cremades for the invitation and Ale Jacod and Alejandro Croci for sharing this beautiful journey.
