Itinerary description
After a comprehensive chart and yacht briefing at the Horizon Yacht Charter base in Blue Lagoon Marina on the south west coast of St. Vincent, set sail for a brief 2 hour passage to Bequia, your first overnight stop. Before leaving the base provision at the IGA supermarket or take advantage of our full provisioning service and relax in the knowledge that everything you need is stowed on board for you before you depart.
Bequia is a favourite stopover with a strong nautical tradition. The waterfront scene buzzes, especially when the local ferries arrive. For an interesting shopping experience try the local
Rasta fruit and vegetable market. The island has a wide selection of restaurants to choose from with local or international cuisine. For the active there are some excellent hikes, or if more leisurely just wander around Port Elizabeth and soak up the laid back atmosphere. Take a trip over to the Turtle Sanctuary on the east coast to meet Dr King and appreciate the views down the Grenadines chain.
