Oops......GPS error at 33 nautical miles (showing a direct line from just west of Anavyssos back to Alimos harbour).
From memory we hoisted sails about 1 NM out of Serifos harbour, motor sailed on and off for about 9-10NM and then sailed under full sails all the way to Patroklos, before being struck by light air and having to motor all the way back to Athens (Alimos Marina)
WARNING for sailors - There are an array of fish farms and floating pontoons between the southern tip of the Greece mainland and the island of Patroklos which are NOT marked on the charts. Easy to see in daylight (NE point of Patroklos) and it is a pretty little island with plenty of depth in the channel between. Worth visiting but perhaps avoid the channel at night
