Itinerary description
Difficult conditions!
When we left North Forks we took SW wind to get towards the East side of the reservoir. We then took a break near the campsite, however due to the low water level and strong winds we got stuck in the mud on the leeshore. As a result the rudder got broken. We made it back to the main branch of the reservoir. At that time the wind was gusting at 50km/hr and we could not make any way toward our destination. Eventually we ended up on the North shore and luckliy we got towed back to North Forks.
