J26 ~ Sunday 10/01 The Exumas - Crab Cay 5.4 Nautical
It rained that night (a small downpour) but the sky is blue almost cloudless at dawn then the clouds arrived and departed after noon, temperature 30 °, west wind 5 knots, flat sea.
Morning spent strolling, supplies to the Exuma Market, then photographic walk in town with passage to the Baptist Church a little late, then to the Anglican Church to see the clergy arrive at dawn ...
After lunch we cast off, crossed the water to first anchor in front of a coral reef Red Shank Cay for a nice swim with snorkeling, then weaving between the islands - it's like in the Gulf of Morbihan - in front of the small island of Crab Cay.
J27 ~ Monday 11/01 The Exumas - Crab Cay
Blue sky almost clear, temperature 30 °, west wind 2 knots, flat sea.
After breakfast, swimming and long snorkeling session little pay because few fish.
Afternoon, nap, reading; sewing work to resume on the genoa. Superb evening while around the boat is a mirror ...
