D23 ~ Thursday 07/01 - The Exumas - Elisabeth Island 29.7 nautical
Blue sky, temperature 26 °, wind NO 10/14 knots, beautiful sea with SW swell.
We have a long leg today and we left early. Long windward / wide windward and arrived at 1 pm in the sound in front of George Town, small town and capital of the Exumas Islands. Passing dozens and dozens of wet yachts on either side of the sound - but 85% off the opposite side of George Town off the west coast of Stocking Island - we were anchored shortly after 2 pm south of Stocking Island facing the small island of Elisabeth Island.
After our late lunch, swimming but after the evening of yesterday, the water was not clear, not the foot for snorkeling.
