14 ~ Tuesday 29/12 The Exumas - Staniel Cay 1.7 nautical
There was a short grain but with a heavy rain at the end of the night then the sky found its azure blue quickly, temperature 26 °, wind E 12/14 knots then 9/10 kn, sea beautiful.
We start by solving the problem of the return flight between Long Island and Nassau thanks to an internet connection.
Then we moved the boat to anchor in front of Staniel Cay. This large town is home to the famous Thunderball Grotto in the middle of the bay, which is home to two famous James Bond films: Operation Thunder in 1965 and Never Again in 1983. A year later, Tom Haward uses the site. for his movie Splash.
Ride wave wavebonder between the small houses and lodges proposed tou-ristes (250 to 350 USD per night!). Pot in a bar and some provisions in the two minimarkets.
Back on board and swimming ...
