D11 ~ Saturday 26/12 The Exumas - Warderiks Wells Cay - 15.2 nautical
Blue sky with some clouds as befits the tropics, temperature 28 °, wind E 18/20 knots, sea beautiful.
We leave our owl at 9 am As usual since we have the wind in the nose, it's up close with genoa at four laps and engine for two hours and then engine alone. Entrance to the superb anchorage of Warderiks Wells at 13:45. Here, 22 chests have been arranged in a U-shape around a sandbank which is exposed at low tide. You must first reserve your chest by radio at the park whose room is right in front of the anchorage.
If last night we were alone (with however two motorized barges rich owners), here we find some twenty sailboats.
Stroll through the mangrove but walking on coral requires to have shoes with good soles ...
