Itinerary description

Mishimayozu Park in Hamamatsu is one of the good places as a start for the riverside walk along Magome River. The park is also suited for the walking and jogging. On that day on November 17 I used the park as a start point to the Nakatajima Sand Dune used as a venue for Hamamatsu Festival known for flying huge kites. As the park course is a bit too short for wikiloc trail minimum distance of 500 meters I added the sideway path leading to the riverside pathway.

The trail starts from the eastern entranceway of the park about a few minutes walk from the nearest bus stop YOZUCHO. (楊子町)

Northeastern Corner

This walking trail is a bit narrow for joggers and fit for casual walkers. Walking northward for a minute there is a northeastern corner of this trail.

As you can see from this photo most of the park space is open ground. Good for children to play.

From here you can grasp the overall landscape of the park. It is scarcely wooded and the ground occupy the much of the park. For children the park may look spacious for the size.
