Itinerary description
Very flat 30 km run.The train connects Zug and Luzern is as short as 30 minutes
This run was started 7 am am on a Sunday in Luzern. There was very little traffic
The first 12/13 kilomtres the route follows road 2 past Meggen and towards Küssnacht am Rigi.
95% of the run there is a side walk so you don't need to worry about traffic safety (between the end of the industrial area around Kussnacht and Buonas there is a 2 km section where you need to use hard shoulder.
The section from Luzern to the Zugersee was nice on a day without traffic.
This route is a faster(shorter/less scenic than following the Wanderweg (38km)

The Alpen Panoramaweg is slightly elevated over the Rooterberg
