Itinerary description
San Cristóbal is one of the biggest cities of Chiapas province, Southeast Mexico. It's considered the cultural capital of Chiapas and it's 2.200m high.
In this track we started on my hostel (Planet hostel) and turned on the right in the street. On the first junction I turned to the left until the seventh street, that we turned left. We continued by the street until a fork junction, where we took on the left until the road, where we contined by the right. We continued by this road until the motorway, where we took to the left until we arrived to Humedal (on the right). We surrounded all the place (pic.1) anticlockwise and came back to the motorway that we took on the left. We continued by it until the second street on the left, where we turned and continued until the river. We continued by it, crossed it and crossed it again on the third bridge. We continued by the street and took the first on the left and then second on the left again to the river. We continued by the river until the end, and then crossed it and took the first street on the right, until Avenida de los Insurgentes (big street). We continued until Avenida del Ejército Nacional, where we took on the right until Diego Dugelay. Then we came back on our foot.
The way is steep at the beginning, and then downhill to Humedal. From there is flat. It's paved but in Humedal: woodenway.
