Itinerary description
Running descent on Bright Angel and hiking ascent on South Kaibab. Very long and therefore difficult trail. Don't do it if you're not in good shape (and I mean it, there are warning signs with a puking from an exhaustion guy - that's how I felt by the end).
In March, there's snow at the top (you better have spikes). Then it transitions into very slippery mud (your shoes will get dirty). Then it transitions into dry mud/sand. The temperature at the bottom is noticeably warmer than at the top.
There are several bathrooms along the way on both trails and a couple of places to refill the water.
