Itinerary description
Nice loop in local mountains, following asphalt roads for a major part of it, with just few
"cuts" on the paths and few kilometers on solid dirt roads.
From city center with Venizelou str to the stadium and up to the taverns in Glafkos (next to the spring. First path "cut" from there to find the asphalt again climbing the valley. Another "cut" just a kilometer later. Then with asphalt through Souli and Mintzaiika villages. Just before reaching Gotsaiika, we followed famous doliho's race route to pass Glafkos river and follow small mountain path to reach AgParaskevi (known as Topolova) village. From there nice descent with solid dirt road to Petroto and later with mixed asphalt and dirt road to the forest of Glafkos. Another "cut" through the forest and back to the taverns. Back to the center with some smaller narrow local roads. Overall ~40k with moderate ~1000m verticals.
