Itinerary description
More exhausting than I had expected. I started early as the sun was rising and didn't really get hot until the very end which is also pretty exposed.
The middle section that links Loma Bonita and El Camaron is more of a trail, everything else is a combination of dirt/paved roads. That middle section would be pretty gnarly on a mountain bike but I see people doing it on here. I just used Google Maps to route, it would be pretty hard to get lost I think. You could extend this further by following that road past El Camaron, it was still quite nice.
Overall it was a beautiful and fun run. I would have worn trail running shoes if I had them but wasn't a big deal.

How does the dog situation look more on the farmland? Did you have any trouble?
The dog situation in puerto escondido overall is terrible. There are definitely some dogs on this route and some might bark or chase. I usually yell back and fake kick them to make them go away if they get too close.
