Itinerary description
A pleasant run on the banks of the Wilge river. Single lap for the half and double for the full. A slight climb at the end of the lap to get from the river into the town. Except for short sections through the town, the race is mostly on dirt road. Great waterpoints and well worth a trip from Johannesburg. You can drive through in the morning before the race. Be careful if there is mist. Best route is via the N3 because some of the other routes to Frankfort have roadworks or potholes.
