Itinerary description
One of the tougher marathons that I have done. The climb from about 7km to 21km seems to go on forever. When you think it is all downhill to the finish you get hit with a few more hills. The last 5km is all gentle climbing.
Fortunately the weather was cool on the day. If it had been in the upper 30s as it was the previous day there would have been more casualties on the road.
