Itinerary description

First city trail run in Patras. Mix of street, narrow path, pedestrian area, park and a bit of hills running. Awesome idea and very nice route.

Start and finish was organized at Patra's main square. Later route followed pedestrian Riga Fereou and Ag Nikolaou to reach Ag Nikolaou strairs leading to the fortress of Patras (pretty demanding climb!) Then a bit of old town and narrow streets below the castle to enter Dasylio - a forest/park area based on the hill next to the castle. Probably the most fun part of the run with forest paths and mixed climbs and descents. Leaving Dasylio to the south towards Antenes (the highest point of the race at ~5th km at altitude 265m). From this point a nice and fast descent to the spring of Diakou and Aroi neighborhood. Continueing with descent next to Roman Aqueduct and back to the fortress. Around Roman Odeon and back to the old town with pedestrian narrow streets to reach Pl Georgiou for the finish.
