Itinerary description
This is HIGH DANGEROUS trail!
No ropes or ferrata cables!!
Do not follow this trail if you have vertigo or you don't have very, very good experience in free climbing activities!!
Most of the part of this trails (knife 1, knife 2, knife 3 and knife 4) are highly exposed parts with parts of the side ridge with deep ravines on the left and right sides.
Sometimes it is needed to be Spiderman or ninja since you don't have enough space to place foot or hand.
Strange thing is that at the beginning of the track GPS device creates zig-zag lines without any valid reason. My assumption is that some of the rocks generates magnetic fields which caused this deviations.
Again!
This is HIGH DANGEROUS trail!
Waypoints
First view point
This side ridge in some places offers a great view of the river and Ovcar mountain
Knife 2 heavy demanding part
Knife 2 heavy demanding part. There is alternative a little bit safer path but still dangerous
Tree on the path
The really amazing tree on the path. Most of the trees are small and stunted except few which are normal size.
Crossroad with trail 2
Trail 2 begins near mountaineer hut and leads over Saint Sava anchoress and goes to the one of the summits with perfect view on the Morava's meanders
VIew point Grendpa's tooth
Funny name for the rock which is really looks as a tooth
Intersection on downhill path
Very good and professional work from mountaineering society PD Kablar. A lot of effort has been put into marking the trail professionally with high-quality signs.
PD Kablar mountaineering hut
As already mentioned the society is for all recommendation. On the table near hut they pleased basket with fruits (grapes and apples) A very great move especially for hikers coming down from the summit. It is not difficult to be nice and cultured. Congratulations for idea and realization!
