Itinerary description
Another name of this rock is Khidir Zinde piri. Its unusual appearance has made it a place of worship by the people living in the surrounding areas.
Pir is 5 km west of the Baku-Siyazan highway. The dirt road from the highway to the pier is muddy in spring and autumn, dusty in summer, and slippery in winter, making travel difficult. There is a scarcity of water in the area, as there is only one spring at the sacrificial site with a very low flow. A few trees are found around the pier. They are in danger of drying up as fires are lit in the shade of these trees by visitors.
