Route through the island, perfect roads (only if you want to go to very remote areas you will find single lane roads).
Visit the capital of the island (Portree) where you can find shops and supermarkets to stock the fridge (spectacular Angus burgers).
The visit you can not leave is Dunvegan Castle (inhabited and logically paid) and its gardens. I recommend going around the lake with the boats (for a fee) where we can see up close the seal colonies that live near the castle. To park there is no problem. Large parking and conditioning for motorhomes.
The campsite we use is the Skye Camping & Caravaning (8/10), located in a spectacular setting next to the lake. The problem, the wind I made at night!
In August, the night we were at 5 degrees (positive, yes). So remember to bring the gas bottles full.
