Stage 1

The first stop is in Culross, a small coastal village where you can stroll through picturesque streets and visit some of the Outlander series locations. Afterwards, we visit the city of Stirling with a lot of commercial life and a lot of history. Finally, we will take a walk through the town of Doune until arriving at the Castle of Doune, which can also be seen in the game Thrones game. Let's turn to the Brit Point The Scottish Deer Center, a point that is on the road but has little facilities for motor homes.

Stage 2

In the second stage we headed towards Saint Andrews. It is a city full of food shops, clothing and traditional products, it also has many heritage and historical points of interest and a lot of university life. We continue to the north and enter into a more rural area, close to the Cairngorms National Park. We reach Loch Ness and spend the night at Loch Ness Bay Camping, a place with good views of the wooded area that surrounds the lake.

Stage 3

We started the third stage retreating part of the path to reach Inverness. The capital of the Highlands has a lot of atmosphere in the streets and is located at the mouth of the Ness River. Afterwards, we turn to the east to take a walk on the ancient battlefield of Culloden. We continue to head north to the Dunrobin Castle, very spectacular and surrounded by magnificent landscapes. We continue along the North Coast 500 coastal road and turn to Thurso. After a section of arid landscapes and many Windmills, we finish the stage at the Bayview Camping, very simple but with great views of the sea.

Stage 4

In this stage we began to see large cliffs. We make the first stop in the village of Durness to visit the Smoo Cave. We continue to advance through large green landscapes until we reach the geopock of Knockan Crag, where we take a trip to know the geological origin of the island. We end up in Ullapool, a beautiful fishing village with good food. We make a night at Broomfield Holiday Park, one of the best campsites we encounter during the trip and an ideal spot to watch the sunset.

Stage 5

The first stop of the 5th stage is at The Falls of Measach. We make a small excursion to see the waterfalls and continue making kilometers for fjords and cliffs. We reach one of the other highways in Britain that allows us to cross the remote peninsula of Applecross. The terrain is complicated but the views are worth it. Undo this road and head towards Duncraig Castle. Everything is not open to the public, we walk through the entrance and we go to the nearest town to spend the night, Plockton.

Stage 6

On the sixth day we head south and visit one of the most visited Castles in the country, the Eilean Donan Castle. Then we enter the island of Skye and we make the first stop in the small town of Portree. We continue along the route and stop at An Stòrr to take a trip. Finally, we visit and walk through the viewpoints of the Kilt Rock and Mealt waterfalls. We stayed at a campsite just a few kilometers from the waterfalls called Staffin Caravan Site.

Stage 7

In the 7th stage we start off at Quiraing, a mountainous and steep area with very good views of the sea and part of the island of Sky. Then, head towards Fairy Glen along the coast road and stop at the viewpoint Duntulm sea. Once we walked through the hills of Fairy Glen, we visited the beach of Corall de Claigan and on the way we photographed the Castle of Dunvegan from afar. The next stop is the gorgs of Firy Pools. Finally, we reach the Glenbrittle Camping & Cafe, which is located in a very remote and calm natural area.

Stage 8

In the 8th stage we must undo a piece of the way to leave the island of Sky by the same bridge through which we enter, the one that crosses the Alsh lake. Once I left the island, we left towards the center of visitors of Ben Nevis passing through the city of Fort William. We move a few kilometers and we reach the Glencoe Valley where we can see the famous Three Sisters mountains. Finally, we go to the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park where we spend the night at Loch Lomond Woods Holiday Park.

Stage 9

At the last stage of the route we headed towards Edinburgh. We leave behind the more rural areas and we find great cities like Glasgow.
