Itinerary description
This is a common Floating route along the South Fork of the American River. There is nothing more then a Class II+ rapid. Always wear a life jacket.
START
Coloma gold Discovery park. There is a day use fee of about $10 or if you can use a Poppy Pass.
ALTERNATIVE START/END.
Henningsen park is a good place to end if you start at the park, or begin if you want to do a shorter run Greenwood. There is a $10 fee to park. You can also park free in one of the spots between the park and the bridge.
END
Greenwood Creek Parking is free. At the takeout it is a short walk, maybe 5 minutes to the parking lot.
